You don't need more information. You need a guide.
That's what this care container is: personalized fertility care, not passive education.
After 25 years in practice, here's what I know. Most women trying to conceive over 35 have already done the research. They've read the studies, tried the supplements, tracked everything. What's missing isn't more information. It's someone to help you understand what actually applies to your body.
If you're reading this, you've probably already
Spent hours researching fertility late at night. Tried the supplements your favorite podcast recommended. Tracked your cycle, your temperature, your cervical mucus. Cleaned up your diet. Cut the wine. Switched to glass containers.
You've been told your labs are normal. You've been told to "just relax." You've been told your only option is IVF, or donor eggs, or to try again next cycle.
You're tired. You're scared the window is closing. And you're wondering if there's something everyone is missing.
There usually is.
What this is
A care container, not a program
This isn't a course you take on your own. It's a care container where your case is actively reviewed, your labs are interpreted, and your plan is adjusted as your body responds.
Whether you're trying naturally or preparing for IVF or IUI, the foundation is the same. Both bodies need to be ready. Because it doesn't matter the route you take to conceive. It matters that you're prepared for a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby.
“My fertility doctor said I had unexplained infertility and the only way we could get pregnant was through IVF. After 5 years of trying, I was losing hope. After 2 months on the program my periods were more regular and had cervical mucus for the first time since I was in my early 30s. After 3 months, we just found out we are pregnant.”
How this works
You get a guide, not just a protocol
Most fertility programs give you generic information and send you on your way. This is different.
Over 3 to 5 months, you have direct access to me through weekly live office hours, a personalized strategy built for your body, active oversight so nothing important is missed and nothing unnecessary is added, lab interpretation that goes beyond "normal" and looks for optimal, and adjustments as you go because your body will respond and we respond with it.
The value isn't the information. The value is having someone who sees your whole picture, connects the dots, and helps you make confident decisions.
What We Address
Whether you conceive naturally, through IUI, or through IVF doesn't matter to me as much as one thing: that both bodies are ready when it happens. We prepare both partners by addressing what actually determines outcomes:
Egg Quality
The health of your eggs is determined at the cellular level. We look at mitochondrial function, antioxidant status, inflammation, and microcirculation, the factors that determine whether your eggs can be fertilized and develop into a healthy pregnancy.
Sperm Quality
DNA fragmentation, motility, morphology, oxidative stress - male factor is 50% of the equation
Hormones
Thyroid optimization (not just "normal"), progesterone support, estrogen metabolism, cortisol/stress hormones
Metabolic Health
Blood sugar regulation, insulin sensitivity, inflammation markers (hs-CRP), lipid balance
Gut & Immune
Digestion, nutrient absorption, microbiome (gut + vaginal, endometrial when indicated), immune balance
Uterine Environment
Endometrial lining quality, blood flow, implantation factors, inflammation
This is the foundation that determines whether conception happens - and whether pregnancy is sustained.
Why Preparation Matters More Than Method
I've worked with women who:
Were told donor eggs only at 41 and conceived naturally within 4 months of starting
Spent $80K on failed IVF rounds, then succeeded after 3 months of preparation
Had "unexplained infertility" for years until we actually investigated
The difference wasn't luck. It was addressing what conventional testing missed.
Standard fertility workups check:
Are you ovulating? Are tubes open? Is sperm count adequate?
We look at:
Is inflammation aging your eggs? Is your thyroid optimized for conception? Is gut dysfunction affecting hormone metabolism? Are immune imbalances preventing implantation? Is blood sugar dysregulation disrupting cycles?
Optimal and normal are not the same thing.
What working together actually looks like
In your first month, we conduct a comprehensive case review. I go through your full fertility history, health history, cycle patterns, and prior labs in detail. We identify the gaps in your current approach and order any additional testing your case requires.
In month two, your personalized strategy comes together. Your protocol is built specifically for your body based on your labs, your symptoms, and your goals. We work through the biological systems that determine fertility outcomes. The order and emphasis depend entirely on what your body reveals.
From there, we implement and refine. You have weekly live office hours with me for questions, guidance, and real-time adjustments. Your labs get interpreted in detail as they come in. Your protocol evolves as your body responds. You are never left wondering "is this working?" because we are tracking it together.
Throughout, you have access to educational audio modules covering the why behind what we're doing, fertility-optimizing meal plans built around hormone balance and inflammation reduction, and care coordination with your existing team so your RE, OB-GYN, acupuncturist, and others are all aligned.
The Difference: Clinical Discernment
After 25 years, I bring pattern recognition that can't be replaced by:
Google searches
ChatGPT protocols
Generic fertility courses
One 15-minute consult
I see connections across your labs, symptoms, history, and lived experience that most practitioners - and all algorithms - miss.
That's clinical discernment. That's what you're actually paying for.

Who This Helps
Women and couples over 35 trying to conceive (naturally or with assistance)
Anyone with "unexplained infertility" (we rarely find it unexplained)
Those preparing for IVF/IUI who want the best possible outcome
People with irregular cycles, hormone imbalances, failed treatments
Anyone told their "only option" is IVF who wants to optimize first
Couples where male factor is part of the picture
Age is just a number. Biological age is what matters - and that's modifiable.
“After 7 years and 2 failed IVFs, I decided to go see Dr. Terzo for some help. I was feeling a bit hopeless that anything would work. My fertility doctor had told me it was impossible to get pregnant using my own eggs after my last IVF. After following her methods for three months, I began to see big changes in my periods and I also felt happier and less stressed. After six months of working together, I got pregnant and gave birth to a healthy baby boy at the age of 40!”
“It took a few months of me really thinking about if I wanted to make the investment in Dr. Laurie’s fertility program…..and over the course of 12 weeks my painful cycles and emotional ups and downs improved so much and then I became pregnant two months later after 4 ½ years of trying on our own!”
“At age 41, I came to Dr. Laurie after I had two failed IVF cycles and a diagnosis of diminished ovarian reserve and poor egg quality. My doctor told me I needed to use a donor egg. Dr. Laurie explained to me that we could improve my fertility despite my age. My cycles improved and I got pregnant naturally after just 3 months. She was right! I now have a healthy baby boy!”
“I was told that because of my age (41) I would not be able to get pregnant without using a donor egg. I wanted to try on my own first so began working with Dr. Terzo to improve my egg quality and do everything I could to get my body ready for pregnancy. I began her program and did everything she suggested and now I am 6 months pregnant with a boy!”

Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different from working with my OB or fertility doctor?
Your OB and fertility doctor are essential, and I work alongside them, not instead of them. Conventional fertility care focuses on diagnosing structural issues and providing assisted reproductive technology when needed. My work is different. I investigate the underlying physiology that conventional testing often misses, the inflammation, hormone metabolism, gut function, nutrient status, and immune patterns that determine whether conception happens and pregnancy is sustained. Most clients work with me and their fertility doctor at the same time, and I coordinate with their team so everyone is aligned.
How is this different from other fertility programs I've seen online?
Most fertility programs are content delivery. You buy access to a course, a meal plan, a supplement protocol, or a video library, and you implement it on your own. The information may be solid, but no one is reviewing your labs, adjusting your protocol as your body responds, or connecting the dots across your full clinical picture.
The Fertility Care Container gives you both. You have a comprehensive library of educational modules covering everything from egg quality and sperm health to nervous system regulation, nutrition, supplement rationale, and what your labs actually mean. These modules go deep, and many clients tell me they finally understand their bodies in a way no other program or doctor has explained. But the modules are not the work. They're the foundation that makes the work go faster.
The work is the personalized clinical care. Your case reviewed in detail. Your protocol built specifically for your body. Your labs interpreted and translated into next steps. When something shifts, we shift with it. The education makes you a more informed partner in your own care. The clinical oversight is what actually moves the needle.
Do I have to stop seeing my fertility doctor to work with you?
No. In fact, I prefer that you keep your existing care team. I work as the functional medicine layer on top of conventional fertility care, not as a replacement for it. Many of my clients are actively in IVF or IUI cycles while we work together, and the preparation we do often improves their outcomes.
Will insurance cover this?
Most traditional insurance plans do not cover functional medicine consultations, and I do not bill insurance. However, most clients can use their HSA or FSA accounts to cover their care container, which makes this accessible to many women who assume otherwise. We're happy to walk through how to use your HSA or FSA on your Fertility Audit Call.
Can I work with you if I'm not in the United States?
Yes. I work with women and couples around the world. All sessions are virtual, and I have the ability to coordinate specialized testing internationally when your case calls for it. Whether you're in the US, Canada, Europe, Asia, or elsewhere, the care container is fully accessible, and we'll arrange any necessary lab testing in a way that works for your location.
What happens if I get pregnant during the care container?
Wonderful. Most clients who get pregnant during their care container continue working with me into early pregnancy for first trimester support, since the foundational work we've done is exactly what supports a healthy pregnancy. We discuss continuation options together based on your situation.
What happens if I don't get pregnant during the care container?
This is one of the most important questions to ask any fertility practitioner. The honest answer is that fertility is complex and timelines vary. Many clients see meaningful changes in their cycles, lab markers, and how they feel within the first 8 to 12 weeks, but conception itself depends on many factors. If we reach the end of your container and you're still trying, we discuss next steps based on what your body has revealed and what makes clinical sense, whether that's continued work together, a focused follow-up, or a referral to a specialist for the next phase of investigation.
Are supplements included in the cost?
Supplements are not included and are an additional investment based on what your protocol calls for. Most clients spend between $150 and $400 per month on supplements during the active care container, and you have access to my supplement dispensary at a discounted rate. We only recommend what your case actually requires, never a generic stack.
How do I know if this is the right fit before I commit?
That's exactly what the free 45 minute Fertility Audit Call is for. We review your situation, identify what might be missing, and determine together whether this is the right next step. No pressure, no sales pitch.
“My husband and I began trying to get pregnant when I was 35. We tried on our own for a year and a half, but didn’t have any luck. My doctors said everything looked fine and to keep trying. I was so tired of spending hours researching what I could do on the internet almost every night. I found Dr. Laurie and learned through her that I had some hormone issues. After three months of working with her, my crazy PMS and emotional swings were almost gone and within 5 months I was pregnant!”
- Cassie S.
“I had a high fsh, had 2 rounds of failed IVF, and was told by 2 different fertility doctors that I had a close to 0% chance of getting pregnant on my own. I began working with Dr. Laurie and after 5 months, I was able to get pregnant naturally! “
- Leslie K.
“I came to Laurie as I had difficulty conceiving. Laurie was amazing! She listened to my frustrations, empathized, ...And guess what? Shortly after the completion of the treatment course, I got pregnant! I have a healthy boy now. And I am very grateful to Laurie! Moreover, she sent us a luxurious present (Under the Nile organic swaddle blankets) when the baby was born. I can't recommend her enough. I am so happy that I found her!”
- Irina W.
“My husband and I had been trying to get pregnant for six years unsuccessfully, and had 3 miscarriages. I was ready to throw in the towel because I couldn’t handle another loss. Dr. Terzo gave me a plan to prepare my body and balance my hormones. I was able to get pregnant naturally and gave birth to a healthy baby girl at the age of 40 in September!”
